The Better Principle in your Shower

We applied our Triangle of Trade-offs to engineer a body wash that actually cleanses and soothes your body, rather than stripping it dry with aggressive industrial detergents. Conventional shower gels almost always rely on sulphated surfactants (like SLS or SLES) to create a massive, artificial foam, followed by synthetic perfumes and artificial dyes that can trigger skin irritation and disrupt your natural lipid barrier. That is a hard pass from us.

Instead, we use incredibly mild, plant-derived cleansers (like lauryl glucoside) paired with glycerine made from rapeseed and soya. We scent our washes purely with therapeutic botanical essential oils that offer real benefits - from the astringent, acne-fighting properties of Cedarwood to the relaxing, balancing nature of Ylang Ylang and Lavender. The result is luxuriously soft skin achieved with simple, earth-safe ingredients.

      The Facts (Why It Works)

      • The Displacement Factor: Our bottles are made entirely from already-recycled PCR plastic. When you're done, the bottle, cap, and label are all fully recyclable.
      • 100% Palm Oil Free: Our hydrating glycerine is derived from rapeseed and soya, while our gentle cleansing agents come from coconut and sugar.
      • Four Botanical Profiles: Choose from Scent Free, Rose Geranium & Cedarwood, Lavender & Lemongrass, or Ylang Ylang & Rose Geranium.
      • Zero Nasties: Strictly free from harmful ethoxylated ingredients, sulphated surfactants, parabens, animal products, colourants, and synthetic fragrances.
      • Earth & Animal Approved: 100% biodegradable, greywater safe, and septic tank friendly. Proudly endorsed by Beauty Without Cruelty and The Vegan Society.
      • Local Impact: Manufactured right here in South Africa, keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible.

      How to use

Always shake well before use. Pour a small amount onto wet hands or a sponge, work into a rich, creamy lather, and cleanse your body. Rinse off thoroughly with clean, warm water. Note: Because this is a completely natural product, slight inconsistencies in color or natural settling might occur - just give it a quick swirl.

      Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't this foam up into a massive mountain of bubbles? Massive bubbles are a chemical illusion. Commercial shower gels use harsh sulphated surfactants (like SLS) specifically to create huge foam, but those exact chemicals strip away the natural, protective oils on your skin, leaving it tight and dry. We use mild, sugar- and coconut-derived cleansers. You get a gentler, richer, creamier lather that cleans perfectly without ruining your skin barrier. Less foam, healthier skin.

Why isn't the liquid brightly coloured like my old shower gel? Because your skin doesn't need synthetic dyes to get clean. Commercial brands add artificial colours (like bright blues and pinks) purely for marketing psychology. We refuse to put synthetic dyes on your skin or down the drain, so our liquid remains its natural, uncoloured self.

Which variant is best for sensitive skin? While all our washes are designed for sensitive skin by excluding harsh sulphates, if you have highly reactive skin, eczema, or allergies to natural essential oils, we highly recommend our Scent Free option. It provides all the gentle cleansing and hydration without any essential oils whatsoever.

Why do I need to shake the bottle? Because we refuse to use synthetic homogenisers to artificially bind our formula together permanently. The natural essential oils and plant-based cleansers can sometimes separate slightly while sitting on the shelf. A quick shake wakes the ingredients right back up.

Why does your packaging sometimes look slightly different? Because we use already-recycled PCR plastic. The colour and texture of recycled materials can vary slightly from batch to batch. We view this inconsistency as a badge of honour—it is physical proof that we are actively displacing virgin plastics rather than prioritising a "perfect" cosmetic look.
